The project introduces a series of pavilion-like structures that surround a freestanding bungalow in Sydney’s north. The pavilions are open and airy spaces that cast natural light into the existing home whilst creating seamless connections to the surrounding gardens.

The pavilions sturdy structure is deliberately expressed, accentuating large spans and open movement between spaces. Delicate infill screens provide a contrasting lightness, casting shadows and light across the spaces.
