Canberra Bays
As with Canberra's iconic Nishi Building, our Canberra Bay Apartments draw on an architecture inspired by natural structures and a material palette reflective of Canberra’s iconic autumn seasons.
.
The project is located in the lively Braddon district and towards the edge of a large community oval. The apartments are conceived as houses on the park and subtly form a crescent shaped building edge to the ovals perimeter. On closer inspection small pockets of space appear carved into the building’s façade, each reflective of the individual unit types contained within.
.
The internal planning of apartments is reminiscent of our Surry Hills House whereby internal and external spaces overlap and a centrally located feature stair drops natural light into the building from a large skylight above.
